What is the standard fee for tournaments?  Down here it is $100 and a dozen game balls.

That is usually the case here in Greater Houston area.  sub-varsity tourneys are less, but you can always count on the dozens balls being part of the fee

umpires are a big expense each year!!

In past years, we have hosted a 16 team tournament with another school in our district.  Due to rising cost of umpires fees, we have decided to can it and go to a 5 team round-robin.  This is sad because we had teams from Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus play in it.  Umpire fees and reduced budgets have really shut down some great tourneys.
