I voted for Bush twice and I think he sucks as a president, but I would vote for him again if my only other choices were Obama Hillary or Kerry.

The man has a 27% approval rating. I'd say he's doing a bang up job.

we should use the clause in the constitution and throw out our current form of government and start over.

Now we're getting somewhere! Get rid of what is currently in place, and then build a new government by actually using the Constitution.

just because he doesn't have a good approval rating doesn't mean he's doing a bad job. there's plenty of good coaches out there who don't have good approval ratings from the community but they're good coaches.

Part of why he has a bad approval rating is because he is actually doing something and lots of these people don't want to get anything done except belly ache and gripe about everything. I've never seen a president have to endure all the crap this one has. He's damned if he does and damned if he don't. Of course there are some things I don't agree with him on, nclb is a good one. But he does have a conviction and he sticks by them despite those who disagrees. I don't see a whole lot of other politicians that stand by his convictions as he does. I think it is part of what's wrong with our country today. If it ain't working to everybodies liking then it is all so and so fault. Try to put the blame on something or somebody.

If the tree hugging demos would loosen up the restrictions on drilling and refining, then we would not need to depend on the Saudi's and their $110 a barrel oil.

Since we live in a global market and India and China are using as much if not more oil than the U.S., oil prices are not going to go down. It has nothing to do with the President, or Congress, or the Republicans, or the Democrats, or OPEC trying to teach the infidel Americans a lesson. It comes down to the fact that China and India need oil and need it badly so they will pay. Supply vs. Demand. Pure and simple.

Not much. Because everyone knows we took over Iraq for their oil so the U.S. can have a vast supply of cheap crude.

Iraq has the 2nd biggest supply of oil in the world next to Saudi Arabia. Since the war started they are supplying less oil. If the war had went as planned they would have been supplying much more oil to us. That is all fact.

Yep. You just made my point. Since it's really OUR oil anyway, why is the average gas price in the US over $3.00/gal?

But it's OUR oil is it not? It's just an inside deal that Bush has with the big Oil companies....Keep Iraq's oil production down and make lots of money by selling expensive gas to the Americans. They are thinking that the taxpayers will pay for the invasion of Iraq while the oil companies have record quarters!!! It's just too simple!

Really? Because most liberals tell everyone that Bush started in Iraq for the oil and was backed and supported but the big oil companies.
