your only allowed three defensive timeouts per game unless it is a pitcher change, so on the fourth and everyone after that you would have to pull your pitcher. Or at least that is my understanding

the way we understood it, and played all year was you had to pull him on your third.  i even had umpires tell me after my second visit, "coach, that's two, you gotta pull him on the next visit".  then in the playoffs the other teams coach went out 3 times and they didn't make him pull him, told us he had to pull him on the 4th.  so we looked it up.  the wording is tricky but you don't have to pull him til the 4th visit.

i don't think so brick.  i think when they went to the 3 visit rule the 2 an inning went out the window.

if memory serves that was the ncaa rule when i played college ball.
