One of the guys that was on the previous staff and retained by the new HC backstabbed him all season along with the other finalist for the job who is a local guy (who has not been in coaching for some time now) teaming up with a couple of parents in the stands to rip every call or decision by the HC.

Those people got one of the board members to raise a fuss to the supt.  The supt didn't back the new HC so he resigned.  Lots of townfolk went to the board to rip the backstabber, the salesman and the board member.

That's the word heard at the local coffe shop anyway that I stop at on the way to work.
